Broomhedge Reserves were formed in 2010 after local side Moira Swifts folded. The management and most of the playing staff from that team formed the early basis of the new Broomhedge Reserve squad along with a few fringe players from the first team.
Although the management has changed, former player Mark Graham is now in charge, many of the players remain the same.
Broomhedge Reserves play their games in the Mid-Ulster Reserve Division 3 and in the 2011/12 season finished 7th.
